ATF CM Cell Module Sensors

The ATF5 and ATF6 sensors are available with a Cell and Module (CM) feature. Specifically to enable cell and module repair, these sensors force the microscope to automatically focus on the surface of the glass where the TFT array is deposited (usually the bottom). This process is not distracted by reflections from other surfaces within the light path such as the protective film, the polarizer or the wrong glass surface.

ATF 5CM and ATF 6CM Features

  • Tracking auto focus
  • Focusing time of 0.4 seconds or less
  • Supports microscope objective lenses from 5x through 20x, including VIS, and NIR
  • Automatic reporting of surface closest to focus (top or bottom)
  • User selectable target surface on which to focus
  • Insensitive to light polarization, that is indifferent to the presence of a polarizer
