To support customers, WDI has built a Microscopy Application & Support Team (MAST) who collectively possess decades of microscopy, application and engineering knowledge as well as real world experience. This group consists of accredited professionals from various disciplines including mechanical, electrical, optical and software engineering, along with dedicated applied physics and solution scientists. Coupled with this team are highly skilled assembly and production technicians and project managers.
Miss. Halszka Weiss stepped into the position of President of WDI Wise Device in October of 2019. Miss Weiss was Born in Wroclaw Poland, and immigrated to Canada in 1989. She holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Durham University in the UK, and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto. Miss Weiss has been deeply involved in the growth of WDI since its founding, working in various rolls and holding a number of positions over the last 15 years. With the recent move of Adam Weiss to the position of Founder within WDI, Miss Weiss accepted the much deserved role of President.
Dr. Adam Weiss
Dr. Adam Weiss, President and Chief Technology Officer, founded WDI in 2005. Born in Wroclaw, Poland, Dr. Weiss immigrated to Canada in 1989 and holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and Control Systems, and a Doctorate in Applied Physics, from Wrocław University of Science and Technology. He has lectured at the University in Applied Physics in the Mechanical Engineering Division, has proudly been published in a number of scientific journals, and is the author and holder of over 30 patents worldwide.
Timothy J. Haynes CPA, CA, LPA, CFP
Tim holds a Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo and the Chartered Accountants designation. Through his more than 39 year professional career, both in public practice and industry, Tim has gained a breadth of experience in corporate finance, acquisitions and mergers, business valuations, business development planning, management coaching and income tax planning. Tim has worked with WDI since its inception in 2005 focusing on issues of customer service and building better businesses.
